All electric scooter rental companies in Qatar to temporarily suspend their service

All electric scooter rental companies in Katara, Lusail, West Bay, and Corniche have been asked to temporarily halt operations by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. 

Due to organizational and security concerns, the rental service will be unavailable for two days on Wednesday and Thursday, May 14 and 15, 2025 Complete adherence to this directive is being encouraged by the Ministry. 

A regulation issued by the Ministry of Transport on May 13, 2025, also temporarily suspends maritime activities along this road until 6 p.m. tomorrow, May 15, 2025.
