American artist Sue Beatrice's tiny worlds of sculptures on display at Tadweer Art Exhibition at Souq Waqif

American artist Sue Beatrice creates miniature worlds of sculptures that captivate hearts, with each watch assembling a moment eternally frozen in time.

The American artist, who has been practicing her trade for more than 20 years, is now showing her classic works to Doha's art enthusiasts at the Tadweer Art Exhibition at Souq Waqif.

Her collection of exquisite pieces is mostly constructed from broken watch cases and components from the 1800s that she sources from all over the world, including Argentina, Eastern Europe, and the United Kingdom.

The sculptures of the Father Amir, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and the Amir, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, were also on display. The sculptures were created by moulding silicon rubber into metal, honing the similarity to the last detail, and then placing them inside old-fashioned timepieces.

Beatrice also uses forced perspective to create visually arresting interior and outdoor scenes with a wealth of detail.
