Registration for the Hajj 2026 season will open on October 1 and run through October 31, 2025, according to the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf).
At a news conference, the Ministry made the statement and stressed how crucial it is that all prospective pilgrims fulfill the registration procedures.
The Ministry has made two more modifications to the registration process as part of the process. In order to participate in the pilgrimage this year, prospective applicants must receive an obligatory health certificate from any of the nation's Primary Health Care Centers attesting to their medical suitability.
Additionally, as a security measure and to help with pilgrimage funding, the Ministry has instituted a QR10,000 deposit for candidates.
The State of Qatar accounted for 4,400 pilgrims this year, according to the Ministry, and registration will be done online at hajj.gov.qa. It says that the electronic sorting will start as soon as the Hajj registration phase is over and that applicants will receive approvals in November.
