
The Qatar Foundation partner university Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) revealed yesterday that it is the first university in Qatar to offer an undergraduate artificial intelligence program.
In order to become leaders in a profession that is changing the world, students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence (BSAI) will need to possess advanced knowledge and abilities. CMU has collaborated extensively with Qatar's Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Qatar Foundation (QF) to deliver this highly regarded degree to its campus in Qatar. This has allowed CMU to make sure that the program will significantly impact Qatar's workforce and future.
The BSAI program directly contributes to Qatar's economic diversification and human development objectives by developing a highly qualified local talent pool in artificial intelligence.
Students in the BSAI program will gain from QF's distinctive multi-university model, which includes QF's own branch campuses in addition to seven international universities.
