The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has issued an order to give concessions on the prices of more than 900 consumer products during the month of Ramadan. The discounts started from March 4, 2024 will continue till the end of the holy month of Ramadan and will be implemented in coordination with major sales centers in the country.
The discount list includes products like milk, curd, dairy products, tissue paper, cleaning supplies, frying oil, ghee, cheese, frozen vegetables, nuts, drinking water, juices, honey, fresh poultry, bread, canned food, pasta, vermicelli and Rabi rose water.

As the cost of buying food and consumer goods increases, the ministry's move is to make goods available to consumers at lower prices during the holy month.
