Doha Metro saw more than 100 million passengers between May 2019 and January 2023. At first, it took about three and a half years to accomplish this goal. But in a record-breaking two years, the metro once again reached the same milestone, demonstrating a sharp and quick rise in customer confidence in its offerings.
The majority of important locations, tourist sites, activation zones, and Hamad International Airport are all connected by the metro network. The ongoing partnership with partners including the Ministry of Transportation and Mowasalat business (Karwa) has improved integrated transportation options, including Park & Ride facilities, metrolink buses, and metroexpress vans. By offering a variety of access choices that facilitate travel to and from metro stations, these improved First and Last Mile services significantly contribute to the growth of metro usage.
Connected via the Legtaifiya Station, the integration of the two networks has been greatly aided by the launch of the Lusail Tram network and the growth of its services.
