Doha is gearing up to welcome the world’s top military parachutists for the 47th CISM Qatar 2025 World Military Parachuting Championship, taking place from November 15 to 23 at Umm Shakhout Airport. Organised by the Qatar Air Sports Committee of the Joint Special Forces, the event will gather 320 elite athletes from 30 nations competing in four-way formation, style, and precision landing across men’s and women’s categories.
Led by Brigadier General Mohammed bin Zayed Al Otaibi, the Supreme Organising Committee has completed all preparations to deliver a championship that reflects Qatar’s growing stature as a global sporting hub.
The opening programme begins on Friday with a technical meeting to finalise registrations, review regulations, and brief participants on anti-doping protocols. Official training sessions will follow, allowing teams to adapt to conditions through multiple practice jumps. Meanwhile, Qatar’s national team continues intensive daily training for the Goal competition, maintaining strong focus and high morale.
