Edaa to offer key services at government service centers in Al Wakra, Al Rayyan, and Al Daayen

Important services will be made available at government service centers in Al Wakra, Al Rayyan, and Al Daayen starting on June 10, 2025, according to confirmation from the Qatar Central Securities Depository (Edaa). The initiative, announced by the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CGB) on its social media platforms, stems from a Service Level Agreement (SLA) signed between Edaa and the CGB, aligning with national efforts to modernise government services and improve the overall customer experience.

Both organizations have tasks and obligations that are well-defined under the SLA in order to guarantee the provision of high-quality service. Through the cooperation, Edaa will integrate its most popular services into the government's current service infrastructure.

Updates to the shareholder register, dividend inquiries, and securities account services can now be performed by customers remotely rather than in person at Edaa's main offices. The goal of the decentralized service locations is to lower waiting times, traffic, and logistical obstacles.

Edaa officials emphasized that in order to guarantee quick and safe transactions, the new service locations are manned by qualified professionals and furnished with digital technology.
