Fifth edition of the Qatar Economic Forum will take place in Doha from May 20 to 22

Under the sponsorship of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the fifth edition of the Qatar Economic Forum will take place in Doha from May 20 to 22. "The Road to 2030: Transforming the Global Economy," this year's Forum subject, will highlight changes in the global economy and the Gulf's role in influencing the coming decade.

Over 2,500 world leaders will gather at this year's event, which will focus on five main areas: business and investment outlook; energy supply and security; sports and entertainment; geopolitics, globalization, and trade; and technological hype and reality. Prominent individuals like CEOs, ministers, and leaders of state are among the speakers on the schedule.

Details of the "Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg" were unveiled at a press conference, outlining the preparations and plans for this year's event.
