Fine up to 10,000 riyals if the residence permit procedures are completed within 30 days

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoI) has warned that expatriates and their employers must complete the residence permit procedures within 30 days of entering the country. Failure to do so will result in a fine of up to 10,000 Riyals.

"Completing residence permit procedures by the employer and the expatriate within 30 days of entry into the country helps prevent violations and ensure compliance with rules and regulations," the MoI said on its social media platforms.
