GWC and QC+ to build state-of-the-art fine art storage and handling hub in the Gulf region

GWC (Q.P.S.C.), Qatar’s leading logistics provider, and QC+, a strategy group advancing value in hospitality, retail, tourism, and culture, have announced plans for a state-of-the-art fine art storage and handling hub in a Doha free zone. The facility will meet rising regional demand for specialized art logistics while supporting Qatar’s National Vision 2030 by expanding high-value creative-industry activity.

The center will offer museum-grade preservation, secure storage, a conservation lab, shared and private units, viewing rooms, and custom-bonded areas for art handling. It will also feature learning and collaboration spaces to build local expertise in art care. Its strategic location near Hamad International Airport—one of the region’s busiest global transit hubs—will enhance international art movement.

Aligned with Qatar’s growing cultural footprint and major events like Art Basel Qatar 2026, the project will further connect the nation’s creative economy with the world.
