Hamad Port has risen three places to rank 8th globally and 2nd in the Gulf region in the 2025 Container Port Performance Index (CPPI) by the World Bank and S&P Global Market Intelligence.
The achievement highlights the port’s strong operational efficiency, resilience, and growing role as a key regional logistics hub. The CPPI measures port performance primarily through vessel turnaround times, a key indicator of trade efficiency and reliability.
