HIA to welcome over four million passengers offering special experiences this Ramadan

Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Qatar Duty Free (QDF) are set to welcome over four million passengers during Ramadan, offering special experiences that reflect the spirit of the holy month.

The highlight is The Orchard, the airport’s indoor garden, transformed with a lunar-inspired installation symbolising the phases of the moon from the start of Ramadan to Eid Al-Fitr. Soft lighting, interactive displays and Majlis-style seating create a calm space for reflection, with a warm glow marking Iftar each evening.

Passengers can enjoy complimentary Arabic coffee and dates, Suhoor pop-ups and special Iftar menus, along with Ramadan-themed collections in stores. On the 14th night of Ramadan, Garangao festivities will feature traditional music, sweets and cultural activities, adding a festive atmosphere to the terminal.
