High volume of departures at Hamad International Airport; travellers were advised to arrive early

Travellers were advised to arrive at Hamad International Airport in Qatar four hours prior to their scheduled departure time. 

This was posted on the airport's social media accounts. "Hamad International Airport is anticipating a high volume of departures today," the post reads. As per HIAQatar's X account, "We request that travellers with planned flights arrive at the airport at least 4 hours before their scheduled departure time. 

The increase in departures was not explained by the airport.
