His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani has arrived in New York to take part in the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which is taking place at the UN headquarters in New York City, according to an announcement made by the Amiri Diwan this morning, Sunday, September 17, 2023.

The Amir Diwan further announced that on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, HH the Amir will give a speech during the inaugural session. An official delegation from Qatar has accompanied HH the Amir.
