Patients have responded remarkably well to Hamad Medical Corporation's (HMC) new mobile application, Lbaih, since its July 20 launch, indicating Qatar's increasing need for digital healthcare solutions.
The app provides users with a number of services, such as the ability to check their medical appointments, directly request cancellations or rescheduling, and conveniently and consistently access their medical records.
A total of 406,549 logins had been made by 101,701 users, according to data released by HMC on the X platform. In addition to 9,011 users accessing vital signs, lab test results, and medications, 7,214 users have used the app to see, reschedule, or cancel their medical appointments.
Lbaih was developed to enhance patients' treatment experiences and increase access to healthcare services. It backs the nation's endeavors to realize Qatar National Vision 2030, which calls for the development of an innovative, technologically advanced, and integrated health system.
In an effort to improve the general healthcare experience, HMC has also encouraged the public to download the app and utilize its extensive feature set.
Smartphone users can download the app, which features a straightforward, easy-to-use layout that makes it simple to use for all patient groups and offers a consistent experience throughout HMC's hospitals and facilities.
Users register using the Qatar National Authentication System for safe access, and they can choose to enable facial or fingerprint recognition for simpler logins in the future.
