IFP Qatar announced details of the 19th edition of the nation’s largest and most prominent construction exhibition - Project Qatar

Project Qatar (PQ), the biggest and most renowned construction show in the country, will have its 19th edition, according to IFP Qatar, the top trade fair and conference organiser in Qatar. The event will take place this year at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre from May 29 to June 1, 2023, under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the assistance of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

A number of representatives of sponsors from the public and commercial sectors attended a press conference the firm conducted at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort and Convention Hotel where the specifics of the event were revealed.

In addition, the event will include 200 local companies, led by significant governmental and semi-governmental organisations and the most prominent private sector companies, as well as 120 international exhibitors from 25 countries, eight official country pavilions, and a significant number of media partners from the print and digital sectors.

This year's session is being attended by 25 nations, eight of which have official national pavilions. These pavilions are being led by the Public Authority for Industry in Kuwait, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), the Turkish Ministry of Commerce, the Trade Development Organisation (TDO) of Iran, along with China, Russia, India, and Pakistan. International delegations from a number of nations, including the members of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Turkey, Iran, India, China, and others, will also be welcomed at the show.

Locally, this year is notable for Suhail Industrial Holding Group's involvement as an industrial partner for the second consecutive year. Suhail Industrial Holding Group is the largest industrial firm in Qatar's private sector.

In line with QNV 2030, Project Qatar this year will showcase Qatar's industrial manufacturing sector to the event's worldwide audience in an effort to increase the event's attendance and highlight the goods produced locally. given that the industrial manufacturing sector has had significant local growth over time.

In the "Smart Cities" pavilion, which features a variety of cutting-edge technology suppliers with diverse uses in building projects, the expo also tackles the future of the construction industry in Qatar by emphasising technological advancements that will play a significant role in that area.

Project Qatar 2023 will serve as a significant platform for Qatar's construction sector and will debut four distinct conferences. The exhibition will host the first edition of Q INDUSTRY, a conference that promotes domestic production and manufacturing of goods essential to the construction industry, as well as the second editions of Q Invest, Q TECH, and Q GREEN, as well as the ninth edition of Q GREEN.
