INDEX Design Qatar and Big 5 Construct Qatar return to showcase Qatar’s construction and interior design from 23 to 25 October

From October 23–25, 2023, two eagerly awaited events, INDEX Design Qatar and Big 5 Construct Qatar, will highlight Qatar's thriving construction and interior design and fit-out industries, at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Centre (DECC). The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, serves as the event's patron. Visitors are urged to record their presence from 12 to 8 p.m. each day.

In order to hold its two globally renowned flagship exhibits, which will also be co-located on-site with Cityscape Qatar giving more value for visitors, world-leading international exhibitions business dmg events and Qatar-based NeXTfairs teamed. With more than 25 participating nations and more than 250 top regional and international firms, it is predicted that the 2023 editions would draw more than 5,000 visitors.

As industry leaders and potential partners/buyers come together to explore the most recent innovations from the movers and shakers of the industry, the exhibitions will serve as a special platform to connect a broad spectrum of professionals, from interior designers, retailers, distributors, fit-out contractors, and high-profile buyers at INDEX Design Qatar, to construction leaders, manufacturers, local buyers, and government entities at Big 5 Construct Qatar.

According to the Qatar National Vision 2030, the construction sector in Qatar is expected to be worth $76 billion by 2027, with a total investment of $16.4 billion earmarked for infrastructure and real estate projects by 2025. The nation's dedication to sustainable and creative building methods, which opens up opportunities for companies specialising in green technology and sustainability solutions, is an intriguing aspect of this investment.
