The Ministry of Interior has announced a one-month extension for all entry visas that have expired or are close to expiring, effective February 28, 2026, with the possibility of further extension based on developments.
The extension will be granted automatically through approved electronic systems, free of charge, without the need to visit service centres or submit applications.
Visa holders with overstay violations prior to February 28 must first pay the prescribed fine. Once settled, the extension and fee exemption will apply from the same date.
The Ministry said it will continue to monitor the situation and urged the public to stay indoors, limit movement to emergencies, and follow official safety instructions.
