The complete text of Minister of Labor Decision No. (32) of 2025, which sets fees for work permits, hiring employees, and authentication of seals, certificates, and other documents, was published in the Official Gazette on Thursday.
Article 1: For workers in private institutions, associations, and companies, as well as for people and workers hired by their spouses or family members, the annual cost of obtaining, renewing, and replacing (lost or damaged) work permits is QR100.
Article (2) establishes the following fees for issuing, extending, and replacing (damaged or destroyed) licenses to engage in the business of hiring foreign workers:
*QR 2,000 for a renewal or license.
*R1,000 to replace everything that is lost or damaged.
Article (3): QR20 will be charged for the attestation of labor contracts, certificates, company and institution seals, and other documents attested by the Ministry of Labor.
Article (4): The fees outlined in this decision will not apply to the following:
* Citizens of Qatar.
* Qatari women's children.
*People who live in states that are part of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Article 5: This decision will be implemented by all relevant authorities within their respective jurisdictions and will take effect the day after it is published in the Official Gazette.
