Lusail Stadium from Lusail, Qatar has been nominated for Stadium of the Year 2022 Award

Five stadiums from the Arab world have been nominated for the largest public vote of its kind in the world – the Stadium of the Year 2022 Award. The venue from the Arab world includes Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, and Qatar. It is all up to the fans to choose the best but the competition is tough with 31 other venues from all over the world competing for the award.

The five new Arabic stadiums are for sure one of the most impressive venues completed in 2022. The stadiums mean a lot to the local society, and they are a pride of a region. The nominated venues from the Arab world are:

Stade Abdelkrim Kerroum from Sig (Algeria)

Suez Canal Authority Stadium from Ismailia (Egypt)

Al-Zawraa Stadium from Baghdad (Iraq)

Al-Minaa Olympic Stadium from Basrah (Iraq)

Lusail Stadium from Lusail (Qatar)

Arabian venues are certainly on the rise and will have the opportunity to be seen by a larger audience because of the Stadium of the Year 2022 contest.

The award is given out in a democratic online vote. It is free for everyone but limited to one vote per device.

To take part, everyone has to select five stadiums by giving 5 stars to the best one, 4 stars to the second best, 3 stars to the third, 2 stars to the fourth, and finally 1 star to the fifth most interesting. It means that you cannot cast your vote for only one stadium – all 5 venues must be included in your form. The voting platform will be open until March 15.

Stadium of the Year:

Stadium of the Year competition is a public vote that has taken place every year since 2011 – the voters choose the best stadium, in their opinion, delivered in the preceding year. The award is the largest public vote of its kind in the world. Since the first edition began, a total of more than 400,000 valid votes have been counted.
