The 2027 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix will return to Lusail International Circuit from March 12–14, as the championship’s second round and only night race. The season opens in Thailand on March 5–7 and ends in Valencia on November 26–28.
Lusail International Circuit has hosted MotoGP since 2004 and became the first venue to stage a MotoGP night race in 2008. It is also one of the few circuits to host MotoGP, Formula 1 and the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Lusail International Circuit will also host the Tissot Sprint in 2027, giving fans an extra day of high-speed racing. The Saturday Sprint covers half the distance of the Sunday Grand Prix and awards points separately.
The 5.38km circuit features 16 turns and a long straight, with its lighting creating a spectacular night-racing setting. The Qatar Grand Prix will also offer crucial championship points in MotoGP’s new 850cc era.
Lusail International Circuit will welcome fans for two major racing events in March 2027, hosting MotoGP from March 12–14 and the Qatar 1812 KM – FIA World Endurance Championship from March 25–27, just two weeks apart.
