Users can participate in online auctions for a variety of goods, including as vehicles, jewelry, furniture, electronics, clothes, and more, all with beginning costs that are affordable with the Mazad Aljomrok mobile application from Qatar's General Authority of Customs. The app is now accessible on app stores and was created to improve openness and public access to customs auctions.
Every user has to create an account online. In addition to providing the necessary registration details, bidders must check the "I agree" box to indicate their agreement to the platform's terms. By doing this, they are bound by a binding contract.
Registrants must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
Requirements for participating:
- For the purpose of customs verification, users must provide accurate personal information on the site, such as their name, ID number, address, phone number, gender, and age.
- Sharing or transferring accounts is strictly forbidden.
- The customs department or auctioneer may take legal action if incorrect or manipulated information is provided.
- Only one account is allowed per user, and they are always responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their login information.
Auction winners have a maximum of seven days from the date of docking to pick up their goods.
Unless the auction committee formally extends the deadline, the General Authority of Customs in Qatar may keep the entire auction proceeds if the commodities are not picked up in that time range.
The following circumstances exclude bidders from claiming compensation:
- if the purchased item was made accessible for examination and flaws are discovered after collection.
- if, as specified in the platform's policies, the auction entrance fee is forfeited.
