Ministry of Municipality introduces online platform for “Abandoned Vehicle Recovery”

The Ministry of Municipality (MoM) has launched a fully digital “Abandoned Vehicle Recovery” service on its website and the Aoun app. The system allows individuals and businesses to retrieve impounded vehicles within the three-month grace period through a streamlined online process.

Users can log in via the National Authentication System (NAS), select the recovery service, enter the required details, agree to the terms, and pay fees electronically. After completing the steps, they receive a notification to collect their vehicle from the impound lot. 

The initiative speeds up procedures, removes the need to visit service centers, and enhances user convenience. It features simplified steps, anytime-anywhere access, improved operational efficiency, and better coordination among authorities, supporting the Ministry’s digital transformation goals.
