The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has issued precautionary workplace evacuation guidelines for emergencies and exceptional situations.
In a social media post, the ministry said that when an evacuation alert is issued, employees must immediately leave the danger area and move to the nearest safe place as a temporary precaution until the situation is safe.
Employees are also advised to familiarise themselves in advance with emergency exits, evacuation routes, assembly points outside the building, and the locations of safety equipment and fire extinguishers. Safety officers must ensure emergency corridors remain clear and that all safety instructions are followed.
