Msheireb Downtown Doha will host workshops, exhibitions, entertainment, and other community activities from March to April

Msheireb Downtown Doha will become a centre during the fasting month of Ramadan. Msheireb Downtown Doha, which has a long tradition of acting as a hub for the community, has planned a full month of immersive Ramadan activities with an emphasis on making treasured memories. From March to April, Msheireb Downtown Doha will be the scene of interactive installations, a Bazaar, a Garangao mini-fashion show, live performances, and a Ramadan competition, among other workshops, exhibitions, entertainment, and community events. Daily hours for all events are 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. The neighbourhood will fully embrace the spirit of Ramadan, creating a charming setting for visitors to capture priceless moments.

Several customary, cultural, and religious activities will be held at Msheireb Downtown Doha as part of its festivities for the holy month of Ramadan. It will carry on the historical custom of blasting the Ramadan cannon to let locals and guests know when Iftar is. In collaboration with the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Msheireb's mosques (Al Wadi Mosque, Msheireb Mosque, and Al Baraha Mosque) will welcome a number of eminent scholars and imams to lead the Isha and Taraweeh prayers during the auspicious month, with the goal of offering worshippers and guests a distinguished spiritual environment. In addition, the district is planning to commemorate the auspicious environment of this holy month by hosting a variety of religious lectures at Al Wadi Mosque.

Ramadan Corner: Located in Sikka Wadi, between Park Hyatt and the Doha Design District, this special Ramadan corner will serve dates, henna art, teas, and coffees.

Ramadan Workshops: Young people can attend workshops and seminars at Msheireb Downtown Doha on a variety of topics related to Ramadan, such as Islamic customs, calligraphy, culinary displays, and spiritual contemplation.

Ramadan Photography Exhibition: Barahat Musheireb will host a carefully selected photography exhibition with photographs that capture the spirit and essence of Ramadan, created by local photographers and community members.

Paddle Court: Throughout Ramadan, visitors to Msheireb Downtown Doha are welcome to participate in daily paddle contests held in the courtyard of the Company House. There can be a little cost to participate.

Ramadan Arts & Crafts: For a little cost, families and kids may participate in calligraphy lessons, henna painting sessions, and workshops focused on creating lanterns.

To foster community involvement and create enduring memories, Msheireb Downtown Doha is inviting everyone to participate in the month-long celebration. Goody bags will be given out during a tram tour, and families are encouraged to post pictures of their best-dressed Garangao costumes.
