Two international prizes from the 2025 Green Apple prizes have been given to Msheireb Properties, the top sustainable developer in Qatar. The Msheireb Mosque won the "Beautiful Buildings" award from the UK-based Green Organization, while the Msheireb Downtown Doha (MDD) development won the "Environment Best Practice – Built Environment" award.
Founded in 1994, the Green Apple Awards are a prestigious global initiative celebrating outstanding environmental practices by companies, institutions, and communities worldwide. Msheireb Properties has once again earned this distinguished recognition, successfully defending its title after winning the 2024 Green Apple Award for Beautiful Buildings with its “Transforming Doha’s Heritage Houses” project. The repeat win places the company among a select group of organisations worldwide honoured in consecutive years for different initiatives.
Msheireb Properties will be honored at a distinguished ceremony in the House of Lords, London, on November 17, after being chosen from more than 700 entries globally.
