Old Doha Port to hold special celebratory events on the occasion of Qatar's National Day

In honor of Qatar's National Day on December 18, the Old Doha Port announced that it would host a number of festive events, including a full schedule of entertainment performances and cultural events that honor Qatari culture. All ages are welcome to experience the history and accomplishments of the country in a lively and immersive setting.

A traditional band will perform live at 4 p.m. to kick off the festivities, bringing the port alive with the rich sounds of Qatari music. A vibrant atmosphere will be maintained throughout the evening as the band performs until 10 p.m. The National Anthem will be played at 6:12 p.m., and then there will be more music and cultural events after that.

Additionally, visitors will get the opportunity to examine traditional crafts made in Qatar. From 4 to 10 p.m., artisans from all across the nation will display their skills through live demonstrations of a variety of crafts, including fish net installation, pottery making, and ship building.

Additionally, the craftspeople will show off their skills in creating bamboo handicrafts, knitted fishing nets, and embait boxes. Attendees will have the opportunity to observe the intricate details of Bisht embroidery, Al Sadu weaving, Henna art, and calligraphy. A thorough examination of Qatari craftsmanship will be provided by the exhibition of Gypsum Carving and Hay Handicraft.
