Qatar’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has announced that Ooredoo Money has become the first fintech company to join the Single Window platform. The move follows a cooperation agreement with Ooredoo Fintech Qatar aimed at expanding services available through the platform, strengthening private-sector integration, and improving digital services for businesses.
The agreement was signed by Mubarak Abdul Rahman Al Khulaifi, Director of the One Window Department at MoCI, and Mashael Abdul Fattah, General Manager of Operations at Ooredoo Fintech Qatar.
Under the agreement, investors, business owners and entrepreneurs can apply for an Ooredoo Money merchant wallet while issuing or renewing their commercial registration through the Single Window platform, subject to applicable regulations.
The new service is designed to make digital payment and financial solutions more accessible to businesses, reduce paperwork and manual processes, and streamline procedures for investors. It is also expected to improve efficiency and make business-related transactions faster and easier.
