A wide range of public events are being organized by Qatar Museums (QM) to commemorate the LATINOAMERICANO exhibition, which is on display at the National Museum of Qatar through July 19.
The programs will give the public access to a wide variety of activities, such as curator-led tours and a literature series that features works of fiction, poetry, and essays by well-known Latin American authors, providing a significant chance to enhance knowledge and appreciation of Latin American culture and artistic expression, according to a press release from QM.
It further states that the audience will have the opportunity to explore the rich tapestry of modern and contemporary Latin American art through curator-led and guided tours in both Spanish and English, allowing them to discover over 170 outstanding pieces in the LATINOAMERICANO exhibition.
QM's will also host the Palabras y Pinceles - Literature Salon to give participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in Latin American literature and engage in critical discourse with the visual art included in the LATINOAMERICANO exhibition. A carefully chosen reading of works of fiction, poetry, or essays by well-known Latin American writers will be included in each session, providing a greater understanding of the artistic and cultural issues that characterize the area.
