Qatar Airways Group CEO Akbar Al Baker has announced he is stepping down from the role after 27 years of service

The Group Chief Executive of Qatar Airways, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, will step down from his current role on November 5, 2023, following 27 years of outstanding service. Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer will take over as Group Chief Executive for Qatar Airways. Under the direction of H.E.
