Qatar Airways resumes Middle East flights with daily UAE and Syria routes

Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of flights between Doha and several major Middle Eastern destinations, bringing back daily services to the United Arab Emirates and Syria.

Starting April 23, 2026, the airline will resume daily flights to Dubai (DXB) and Sharjah (SHJ), followed by Damascus (DAM) from May 1, 2026.

These resumptions are part of a phased network rebuild, in line with plans to expand to over 150 destinations across six continents from June 16, 2026.

Qatar Airways has advised passengers to regularly check its official website or mobile app and ensure their contact details are accurate and up to date.

Passengers with confirmed bookings between February 28 and September 15, 2026, can change their travel dates free of charge to any date up to October 31, 2026, subject to availability and fare conditions.

If a flight is affected, travellers can make free changes until October 31, 2026, or request a refund of the unused ticket value, which may take up to 28 working days to process.

The airline noted that schedules may change or flights be cancelled due to factors beyond its control.
