Qatar Airways has surpassed a key milestone in its Starlink upgrade programme, becoming the airline with the highest number of Starlink-enabled widebody aircraft. More than 100 of its jets are now equipped with ultra-fast in-flight Wi-Fi, with installations progressing ahead of schedule to bring the service to passengers earlier than expected.
Over half of Qatar Airways’ widebody fleet is now Starlink-equipped. The 2025 Skytrax “World’s Best Airline” has already operated 30,000+ flights with seamless, high-speed, gate-to-gate Wi-Fi. This milestone strengthens its position as the only MENA carrier with Starlink and a global leader in next-gen long-haul connectivity.
