Qatar Airways to allow an extra 15kg baggage allowance to passengers flying between Doha and Jeddah during Ramadan

During the holy month of Ramadan, passengers travelling from Doha to Jeddah and vice versa will be able to check-in an additional 15kg of luggage free of charge on Qatar Airways, the national airline of the State of Qatar. This offer is valid from March 15 to April 10, 2024. 

"By meeting their specific requirements during this holy time, our programme embodies the giving spirit of Ramadan and eases the journey for tourists and travellers making the Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Passengers on the Doha-Jeddah route and vice versa may now bring necessities for their spiritual trip and carry presents for their loved ones with more convenience as the airlines announced in a statement that excess luggage is allowed at no additional cost.

With its state-of-the-art aircraft and its highly regarded hub, Hamad International Airport, Qatar Airways offers 35 weekly flights to Jeddah. Furthermore, eight Saudi Arabian cities—AlUla, Dammam, Qassim, Jeddah, Medina, Neom, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif, and Yanbu—are included in the multi award-winning airline's vast network.
