With the largest gain in tourist hotel nights throughout the Gulf, Qatar has become the region's tourism growth leader. The nation is building a number of coastal projects to strengthen its reputation as a high-end vacation spot and emphasize quality, longer stays, and economic effect as part of its plan to maintain this momentum, said Saad bin Ali Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism.
Currently, Qatar is leading the region in the rise of room nights, surpassing even the largest travel companies. By hosting important international events, Qatar continues to take use of its top-notch infrastructure. Training and technology are also essential components of Qatar Tourism's strategies. The Qatar Excellence Academy is educating drivers, guides, hotel staff, and even international partners to properly market Qatar.
The nation is also starting large beachside projects, like as the theme park-themed Simaisma project, which will cost QR20 billion.
