The 15th edition of the Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) concluded on a high note, attracting 490,493 visitors over 10 days at the 974 Stadium Precinct, making it the most attended edition in the festival’s history. Organised by Visit Qatar, the landmark edition underscored QIFF’s position as a leading cultural and culinary event, offering a vibrant mix of food, entertainment and cultural experiences for residents and visitors alike.
Attendance rose by 36% compared to last year, reflecting the festival’s expanding regional and international reach. International visitors made up 10% of total attendance, while Qatari nationals represented 22.1%, the largest share among attendees. The festival also saw strong repeat engagement, with 32% of visitors returning multiple times during the event.
The 2026 edition featured 200 local vendors, highlighting Qatar’s growing home-grown food scene, alongside 46 international vendors — a 43% increase from the previous year — bringing a wider range of global cuisines to the festival.
Adding to the experience, more than 50 local and international chefs took part in the programme, hosting live cooking shows, hands-on workshops and exclusive dining events throughout the festival.
