The Ministry of Municipality's Public Cleanliness Department is organizing a series of beach and island clean-up campaigns in 2026.
The initiative supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The campaign aims to:
- Promote environmental sustainability.
- Protect Qatar’s natural landscapes and marine ecosystems.
- Encourage community participation and civic responsibility.
- Raise environmental awareness among residents.

June 6: Ras Al Nouf
June 13: Simaisma Beach
June 20: Al Kharayej Beach
June 27: Al Wakrah Family Beach
Al Kharayej Beach: A popular family destination north of Doha; the clean-up will help preserve its natural beauty and maintain a safe environment for visitors.
Al Wakrah Family Beach: One of Qatar’s busiest beaches; the campaign will enhance visitor experience and help reduce litter and marine pollution.
