The Ministry of Culture has announced that this year’s Qatar National Day (QND) events will take place at Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal from December 10 to 20. The celebrations will offer an immersive experience highlighting Qatari heritage, loyalty, and identity under the QND motto, “With You it Rises, From You it Awaits.”
Spread across 150,000 square meters, the venue will host cultural, artistic, and heritage activities featuring participation from various ministries and national entities. Key attractions include the Al Muqtir and Al Izbah Heritage Camps, which recreate traditional desert life with poetry sessions, riddle games, crafts, and camel-handling experiences for children.
Maritime heritage will be showcased through the Al Bidda event, featuring traditional majlis settings, sea-heritage games, and a maritime museum. Numerous activities for children, sports events, and daily cultural performances will also be held at the main theatre.
