Qatar Rail announced that the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram are fully ready to accommodate fans attending the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup and FIFA Intercontinental Cup Qatar 2025 Finals from December 1 to 18. On days with late matches, operating hours will be extended across the metro, metrolink, and metroexpress services. Park and Ride options will be available at selected stations, except Education City on match days and Lusail QNB for the entire tournament, with Qatar University serving as an alternative.
To handle the expected increase in ridership, 6-car trains will run on the Red Line, and 110 trains will be deployed during peak hours. Qatar Rail has also positioned additional maintenance teams, installed extra wayfinding signage, and assigned trained staff—including assistance for passengers with disabilities—across major stations and stadium venues to ensure smooth operations and efficient crowd flow.
The 2025 FIFA Arab Cup will be held across six stadiums, five of which are within walking distance of metro stations, including Stadium 974 (Ras Bu Abboud), Education City, Ahmad bin Ali, Khalifa International, and Lusail Stadium. Al Bayt Stadium will be served by shuttle buses from Lusail QNB. The FIFA Intercontinental Cup’s final matches will take place at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium on December 10, 13, and 17.
For Lusail Tram, the Orange Line will run only between Legtaifiya and Al Wessil, the Pink Line will operate normally, and the Turquoise Line will be suspended due to safety measures. During the T100 Triathlon from December 10–14, the Pink Line will run only between Legtaifiya and Tarfat South during race hours. A 24/7 customer contact centre, including Customer Service 105 and WhatsApp 44433105, will support visitors. Qatar Rail urges fans to plan trips early, follow staff guidance, and stay updated through digital screens and official channels.
