The Orionid meteor shower, a significant celestial event, occurs each year from October 2 to November 2, reaching its peak on October 21.
According to meteorologists that specialize in meteor observation, the Orionid meteor shower is a unique meteor shower that peaks at an estimated rate of roughly 30 meteors per hour.
The only prerequisite for viewing meteor showers is a place that is remote from light and environmental contamination. Thus, the Orionid meteor shower will be visible to citizens of the State of Qatar without the use of telescopes or other astronomy equipment.
The Orionid meteor shower will be visible to the naked eye toward the eastern horizon from after 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday until dawn on Wednesday. Photography enthusiasts can capture the event using modern digital cameras by extending the exposure time to achieve clearer and more striking images.
