Qatar Tourism conducted a press conference at Palace Vendôme (2024 Winner of the Premier Shopping Mall Experience) to announce the third edition of the Qatar Tourism Awards 2025. The application portal is now available, and the deadline for entries is August 7th, 2025. A program of Qatar Tourism and the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), the Qatar Tourism Awards honor individuals and companies in Qatar's tourism and hospitality industries for their outstanding efforts to providing exceptional customer service.
Two new subcategories are being introduced this year: Leading Chief Concierge, which will honor a concierge from a five-star hotel in Qatar who demonstrates outstanding guest service and in-depth local knowledge, and Hotelier of the Year, which will honor a general manager who has shown noteworthy leadership and innovation in hotel operations.
The Qatar Tourism Awards Alumni Network, a new platform aimed at encouraging interaction between past award winners and Qatar Tourism leadership, was also introduced as part of this year's event by Qatar Tourism.
A formal ceremony in November 2025 will reveal the winners of the third edition of the Qatar Tourism Awards. In addition to receiving more exposure through promotion on the Visit Qatar and Qatar Tourism platforms, award winners will also be given preference for sponsorship opportunities as part of Qatar Tourism's continuous assistance to industry partners. To further emphasize Qatar Tourism's focus on providing high-quality service across all industry categories, applicants under the Gastronomic Experiences category are also required to be enrolled in the Taste of Qatar initiative.
