Qatar Tourism focuses on developing plans and strategies that streamline procedures and regulations related to Hayya card

H E Saad bin Ali bin Saad Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism, stated that the organization's primary goal is to solve all issues affecting the industry and coordinate its growth with the state's overall advancement. To that end, plans and strategies that simplify processes and laws are developed. 

He mentioned the tremendous growth the tourism industry in Qatar has had recently. He emphasized that it is a cornerstone of the government's economic diversification policy, as outlined in the Qatar National Vision 2030. He went on to say that a number of initiatives are in the works to create the Hayya Card in an intelligent and suitable approach.

Al Kharji emphasized the need of empowering and supporting the private sector to advance this crucial industry during a meeting hosted by the Qatar Chamber (QC). In attendance were QC Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, QC First Vice-Chairman Mohamed bin Twar Al Kuwari, Board Member and Chairman of the Tourism Committee H E Sheikh Hamad bin Ahmed Al Thani, and representatives from businesses in the tourism industry.
