The next three FIFA Arab Cup tournaments (2025, 2029, and 2033) will be held in Qatar. This was declared at the FIFA Council meeting, which took place in advance of the 74th FIFA Congress in Bangkok, Thailand, when a number of significant decisions were made.
"At the request of the Qatar Football Association, Qatar will host the tournament in 2025, 2029 and 2033, which will follow the principle of an invitational competition not included in the International Match Calendar," stated FIFA in a statement.
Additionally, it verified the different slot distributions for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will take place in Qatar every year from 2025 to 2029 and last for five editions. The following spots have been confirmed: UEFA 11, AFC 9, CAF 10, Concacaf 8, CONMEBOL 7, OFC 3, and UEFA 11.
