The Qatari Businesswomen Association is pleased to recognise the outstanding accomplishments of women in a variety of fields on International Women's Day, which falls on March 8. We also recognise the obstacles that these women still have to overcome. In an effort to uplift and assist women in business, QBWA, in collaboration with QBA, Deloitte, Qatar Islamic Bank, and Management Centre Europe (MCE), arranged the 'Invest in Women - Accelerate Progress' event yesterday.
This event highlights the significance of strategically investing in women's empowerment. It aims to support women in thriving in diverse fields and recognises their accomplishments. It also offers a platform to share motivational tales, talk about obstacles, and find ways to empower more Qatari women across the board in the economy and society.
Amal Al Aathem, a member of the QBWA board, opened the event with a welcoming statement and thanked everyone for joining QBWA in commemorating this momentous day.
