QCA has announced the hosting of Gulf T20 Championship in Qatar

Later this year, Qatar will host the Gulf T20 Championship, according to the Qatar Cricket Association (QCA). In order to organise the inaugural Gulf T20 Championship from September 13 to 23, QCA is uniting all of the gulf countries through this competition. The Legends League Masters will be held in March 2023, and QCA will hold the record for successfully hosting 60 legends from across the globe.

QCA wants to dominate associate cricket and become a major force. They want to make Qatar one of the top locations for staging international cricket competitions given the region's rising interest in the sport.

Over the course of 10 days, the Gulf T20 Championship will include all Gulf countries, with senior men's teams from the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia joining the host nation Qatar in 16 live matches.

The West End International Cricket Stadium will host the games, and nine nations will be able to watch them live. It is hoped that this competition will lead to substantial advancement in the sport of cricket in the region and serve as a major turning point.
