Qatar Museums (QM) stated that it will be hosting 35 children of QM workers for a full day of job-shadowing and hands-on learning on August 27 as part of the fifth edition of the "Little Employee" project, which is organized by the Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), which was established by the Qatar Foundation (QF).
Children followed their parents and family members through front-of-house and backstage operations throughout the day, witnessing how interdisciplinary teams work together to present exhibitions, safeguard collections, and greet guests—all the while reaffirming the importance of families as first career counselors.
QM joined an initiative showcasing the diverse careers that drive Qatar’s cultural and creative sectors—from conservation and curatorial research to design, education, and digital content. Aligned with QM’s Education, Learning & Outreach strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030, the effort promotes early career exploration and inspires future cultural leaders and innovators.
