The 9th edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition — S’hail 2025 — will open tomorrow at the Cultural Village Foundation – Katara. According to Vice Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mohammed bin Abdullatif Al Misnad, the exhibition will continue until September 14 and feature more than 200 companies and organizations from 17 different countries.
This year's edition is a major growth, according to Al Misnad, with 2,000 square meters more exhibition space than the year before. The expansion reflects the variety and scope of the goods and services on display and is a reaction to increased demand from regional, local, and foreign exhibitors. From the newest hunting guns and weapons to falconry gear, camping supplies, and innovations designed for desert adventures, visitors can anticipate a broad variety of items.
Along with the exhibition, S'hail 2025 will include a full schedule of contests, cultural gatherings, and creative endeavors honoring the history and customs of falconry and hunting.
Al Misnad added that the e-falcon auction, which is known for displaying some of the best and rarest falcons in the world, will once again be the exhibition's focal point. The S'hail mobile application will be used to encourage participation.
In an effort to ensure more fairness and openness, the auction is implementing a new bidding mechanism this year. To promote a more competitive atmosphere, participants will be asked to write down their final bid on paper and place it in a sealed box during the last half hour of the auction.
