This weekend, the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) predicts high seas and strong winds. With daily highs between 30°C and 44°C and mild to blowing dust, the hot weather will persist.
According to a recent Department forecast, fresh to strong winds will persist in Qatar through the following week. As a result, continuing marine warnings are anticipated in certain regions, combined with blowing dust and decreased horizontal vision.
The northwesterly wind is expected to reach 12–22 KT on Friday, with gusts up to 30 KT. The next day, the wind will be 5–15 KT with gusts up to 22 KT, from a northwesterly to northeasterly direction.
On Friday, the sea level will be between 3 and 7 feet, with a peak of 9 feet. Sea levels on Saturday will be between two and four feet.
