Worldwide premiere of “CONNECT-IT. Visions to connect the world,” represents the strong connection between Italy and Qatar

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in collaboration with ANCE, the Italian national association of construction industries, presented the world premiere of "CONNECT-IT. Italy's Deputy Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, H E Valentino Valentini, presided over the inauguration.

In his speech, Deputy Minister Valentini emphasized the importance of the show by saying, "This is an exhibition about engineering, about Italy, about our prowess, and about the deep bond between Italy and Qatar." He emphasized the structures' cultural and practical value, pointing out that they serve as a symbol of the close ties that exist between the two countries.

"CONNECT-IT," which is curated by Prof. Tullia Iori, Ludovico Pratesi, and Marco Bassan, highlights Italian technical brilliance via works of art constructed both domestically and internationally. It provides guests with a sensory-immersion experience that takes them right into the heart of some of the greatest Italian masterpieces. Renowned artists' texts, images, music, and films enhance the experience by offering unique and moving interpretations of the infrastructures. 

Five capsules, one for each of the following themes: landscape, cities, history, heritage, and borders, make up the show. An additional capsule is devoted to Italian infrastructure built by Italian companies around the world. 

"CONNECT-IT" is free to the public and available at Msheireb Downtown Doha, Atrium Z, till September 14.
