MoSDF inaugurated the ‘Family Charter’ under the theme: ‘Family is the treasure of a nation’

In an effort to promote familial values and the importance of families in creating close-knit communities, the Ministry of Social Development and Family (MoSDF) launched the "Family Charter" yesterday under the subject "Family is the treasure of a nation." Along with many of Their Excellencies the Ministers, H E Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family, attended the opening event.

The inauguration took place with the signature of a massive mural in many locations, including Wisdom Square, Wefaq Centre, and the Dadu Children's Museum at Expo 2023 Doha. There are a lot of signers on the mural, which will help to promote awareness and adherence to shared responsibility.

The mural, which explains the rights and obligations of signers, will be made available around the country in an effort to collect a sizable number of signatures. During the inauguration event, a workshop was held to raise awareness of the charter, its importance, and its key tenets, which include social cohesiveness, the close-knit family, and fortifying the community's religious beliefs.
